BSSW
Bay Shore Steel Works (BSSW) is a full-service component manufacturer and finisher. We maintain the capability to process components from raw plate to painted weldment or assembly. Although we work in all steels and aluminium, our concentration is in armor plate fabrications for the defense industry.
We are a key supplier of armor plate components for the Stryker Assault Vehicle and the M1 Abrams tank, plus other military armored vehicles and systems.
We offer complete process engineering, fabricating, machining and finishing services from a 72,000-square-foot facility just minutes away from Lake Michigan and across the road from one of Michigan’s premiere golf resorts.

Grand Traverse Engineering and Construction (GTEC) has provided private and public clients with a focused set of professional services which primarily include civil engineering, construction management, and land planning. As a tribally-owned firm, we have specialized in creating safer developments by utilizing Smart Growth principles; in addition to, maintaining an assertive effort to create sustainable natural and built environments.
GTEC was founded as RCA. Clark & Associates in 1979 and focused on land planning and landscape architecture services. The company was purchased by Grand Traverse Economic Development as RCA, LLC in 2014.
